The Plant Search Page lists all the plants we grow and can be sorted to meet your needs.  You will find our plants exclusively at these GARDEN CENTERS. Pentas, Lantana, Golden Dewdrop, Bush Daisies, Perennial Salvias and the sterile non-invasive Mexican Petunia variety 'Purple Showers' are nearly always available. Other Perennials and Annuals are available in the seasons they bloom or perform best. Milkweed, grown without pesticides toxic to Monarchs, are nearly always available.

When raising Monarchs, you should be aware of mosquito control spraying by neighbors, garden centers and municipalities. Parasites and wasps often quickly kill populations of Monarch caterpillars both in the wild and in your garden. Wash and isolate your new plants and test them with single larvae to make sure they are pesticide free. Moving too many caterpillars to 1 plant increases the risk of exposure to Protozoan parasites

Some of the Native Plants have minimal consumer appeal so we offer them at the USF Botanical Gardens Spring or Fall Plant Sale and Their Butterfly Festival. Learn more about natives using this link to the Atlas of Florida Vascular Plants. Native plants often survive our hot and humid and wet then dry seasons when sited properly and so do many of the other Florida Friendly Plants we grow that adapt to this unique subtropical peninsula’s climate. We subscribe to the University of Florida’s advice of right plant – right place and promote plants that perform well in Florida.

We grow everything in 1 Gallon pots including our Annuals and Premium Annuals which include some fantastic new species from The Flower Fields. Many of these are on display at Epcot’s Spring Flower Festival and will be featured in the University of Florida trial gardens throughout the state at locations we will direct you to as they are planted.
