Rick, While I don't buy into the whole global warming propoganda... I DO think its good to introduce gardening to children who are interested. Many schools are building small gardens for various age groups to participate in... this is good for them to be exposed to. Making schools "green" should be done as the funds are provided within each community for improvements ... I hope to heaven we don't have to bail out every old school that wasn't built exactly efficiently. I have my doubts Jake knows anything about gardening. Sorry... Just get so tired of Hollywood "acting" like something they aren't. Just my opinion.

Meems, I think the kids are buying into a more sustainable way of living. It is the parents that are so used to their wasteful habits that often don't want to change for the better. The debate rages on about climate change but we do need to work together to preserve our Florida environment and water and your efforts to show how beautiful Florida is and why we need to conserve. Thanks.
